Stephanie A. Gregory Clifford (born
Stephanie A. Gregory; 17 March 1979), known professionally as Stormy
Daniels, is an American pornographic film actress, director and former
stripper. She has won many industry awards and is a member of the
NightMoves Hall of Fame, AVN Hall of Fame and XRCO Hall of Fame. In
2009, a recruitment effort led her to consider challenging incumbent
David Vitter in the 2010 Senate election in her native Louisiana.
Daniels became involved in a legal dispute with U.S. president Donald
Trump in 2018. Trump's attorney Michael Cohen paid $130,000 in hush
money to silence her about an affair she says she had with Trump in
2006. Trump has denied the affair and accused her of lying. Trump faced
34 State of New York felony charges of falsifying business records with
the intent to commit or conceal other crimes relating to these payments.
His trial on these charges began on April 15, 2024 and he was convicted
of these charges on May 30, 2024
She chose her stage name to reflect her love of Mötley Crüe whose
bassist Nikki Sixx named his son Storm.
Stormy Daniels appears in the film The 40-Year-Old Virgin as the main
character watches her in the video Space Nuts: Episode 69 - Unholy
Union. She also plays a Las Vegas lap dancer in Knocked Up, alongside
fellow porn star Nautica Thorn. A deleted scene on the Virgin DVD
includes her having dinner with producer Seth Rogen in a parody of My
Dinner with Andre.
In early 2007 she appeared in Dirt on the FX Network, where she played a
stripper who sets up a basketball player Rick Fox. She also appears
regularly on Sirius Satellite's Bubba the Love Sponge Show.
She married fellow porn actor Pat Myne in 2003, but they divorced in
2005. She was married to Michael Mosny (screen name Mike Moz) from 2007
to 2009. On July 25, 2009, Daniels was arrested in Tampa on a
misdemeanor involving a dispute with her husband. She married porn actor
Glendon Ctrain (screen name Brendon Miller) in 2010; they have a
daughter. Crain filed for divorce in July 2018. Currently she’s married
to Mike Moz, a publicist in the porn industry. |
