Alison Eastwood (born May 22, 1972
in Carmel, California) is an American film director, Hollywood actress,
fashion model, and fashion designer.
The daughter of swimsuit model Maggie Johnson and movie star and film
director Clint Eastwood (and younger sister to Kyle Eastwood), she
attended Santa Catalina School in Monterey, California, and Stevenson
School in Pebble Beach. Her parents separated when she was three years
old. When she was eighteen, in 1990, Eastwood moved to Santa Barbara to
study acting at the University of California.
Eastwood landed some professional acting roles during her childhood and
preadolescent years. She made her film debut at age seven in Bronco Billy
and 1984 movie Tightrope. She has also worked as a runway and magazine
model in Paris, posing for several European fashion magazines and Vogue
(U.S. edition). Eastwood posed for a cover-featured nude pictorial in the
February 2003 issue of Playboy.
More recently, Eastwood has again appeared on screen. Credits include the
movie Absolute Power (1997), Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
(1997), Black and White (1998), Breakfast of Champions (1999), Power Play
(2002), Poolhall Junkies (2003), and I'll Be Seeing You (2004).
Eastwood was an associate producer for Don't Tell in 2005, and directed
her first movie, Rails & Ties, in 2007.
She has her own clothing line, called the Eastwood Ranch. |
